Wayz was born in 2019 in Porto, Portugal, founded by Pedro Maçana and Daniel Gonçalves — united by a passion for sneakers and a shared dream: to create a Portuguese sneaker brand, 100% designed and crafted in Portugal.

The journey began with a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, bringing Wayz to life with the support of sneaker enthusiasts worldwide. By the end of 2019, the first airs were delivered, and the online store launched.

Just three months later, Wayz took its next step, opening its first physical store in Bonfim, Porto.

Wayz was born from a deep belief that society should evolve with a greater sense of responsibility—for people and the planet. We envision a world where brands and businesses actively contribute to social and environmental well-being, making a real impact through conscious choices and meaningful actions.
